As a Medical Sales Representative, you’ll serve as the critical link between medical and pharmaceutical companies and healthcare professionals. You’ll be responsible for promoting a particular therapy area or individual product in your territory, building valuable partnerships with critical healthcare decision makers such as general practitioners (GPs), hospital consultants, pharmacists, practice managers and nurses. You’ll use your sales, negotiation and disease / therapy expertise to position and differentiate your products – which may include prescription drugs or medical devices – from the competition. And, you’ll be challenged with understanding and satisfying customer needs to close the deal.
