Job Description
The Pharmacy Technician Operations Lead will be responsible for maintaining pharmacy inventory (ordering, reconciliation, returns, etc.), assist with pharmacy licensing activities, and assist other pharmacy-related operational tasks and delegations. This role reports to the Pharmacist in Charge/Director of Pharmacy to assist with operational pharmacy tasks and projects. Candidates for this position should possess exemplary organization and communication skills and be able to prioritize and perform work at a high level on a daily basis.
Essential Functions:
• Prepare and process prescriptions for the pharmacist and complete associated records in accordance with applicable guidelines and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Maintain effective control of inventory and pharmacy stock in accordance with SOPs. Assure compliance and documentation related to the receipt, storage, dispensing/accountability of both supplies and prescriptions.
• Process returns of quarantined prescription medication for destruction and maintain documentation per SOP.
• Respond to queries from sponsors, volunteers, clients and staff in a timely and courteous manner.
• Record and retrieve incoming and outgoing workload information on the electronic data collection system and provide activity data and statistics as appropriate.
• Maintain a safe, secure, clean and tidy work area in compliance with applicable health and safety regulations.
• Participate in internal and external audit and review as needed. Assist with addressing findings.
• Assist Pharmacist in Charge and Director of Pharmacy maintain pharmacy licenses and registrations.
• Maintain required certifications. Attend educational and training events as required.
Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or equivalent (Required)
• 1 year relevant experience; or equivalent combination of education, training and experience (Required)
• Applicable certifications and licenses as required by country, state, and/or other regulatory bodies (Required)

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $37,600.00 - $56,600.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
