We are excited to announce that at this time, we are looking for an Oncology Diagnostic Customer Service Associate to join our team of over 10,000 global field representatives in several regions making over 20 million sales calls annually for our pharmaceutical and biotech clients.
Oncology Diagnostic Customer Service Associate
In partnership with our client, we are currently looking for an Oncology Diagnostic Customer Service Associate to support existing diagnostic business in the Southern CA (LA/Orange County) market. This business includes pathology tests across the full catalogue of client offerings in various therapeutic areas specific to Hematology, Oncology, and specific Infectious Disease.
Our client is keenly focused on Pathology enhancements and improving patient outcomes.
The Oncology Diagnostic Customer Service Associate is primarily responsible for supporting and servicing existing accounts in a given geography. This is accomplished by establishing mutually beneficial business relationships with targeted accounts and physicians key to maintaining and supporting existing sales success of the promoted products.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manage customer relationships in defined territory to strengthen our clients Pathology brand
- Meet or exceed assigned territory objectives
- Develop territory call routing
- Coordinate appropriate support resources (i.e., Client Services, MD’s, etc.) to maximize and strengthen customer relationships
- Maximize terrtitory efficiency by keeping accurate records on client starts, product starts, productivity and client relations.
- Maintain sales prospect lists/sales funnels as required to achieve ongoing partnerships
- Maintain a detailed customer database within Salesforce CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system
- Design and implement Quarterly Business Plan for assigned geography
- Attend Technical and training programs to further development competencies
- Manage company expense within policy and defined budget
- Provide timely feedback to management regarding market trends, competitor activity, and new product/services improvements
- Demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all customer/company interactions; replace patient confidentiality as per HIPPA regulation
Qualifications & Experience:
- High School Diploma required
- 4-year degree from an accredited college or university required or commensurate work experience is preferred
- Previous pathology sales experience preferred
- Current relationships with key physicians specific to Oncology/Hematology and Pathology is preferred
- Documented success in territory organizational skills; routing, maintaining exceptional call average as designated by the client, etc.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and develop an assigned territory with minimal supervision
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Must be willing to travel up to 50%+ of the time which could potentially involve significant flying and/or driving
- Ideal candidate should be willing to travel 250–300-mile radius of specified headquarter city and have proximity to a major airport
- Demonstrated success in prior roles
- Valid driver’s license and current auto insurance is required

The potential base pay range for this role is 80-85,000 annually. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
